My most memorable birthday would be during my school days. It would take months of planning. Everything from my B’day dress, evening menu, games and return gifts were planned meticulously by the entire family. I used to wait entire year for this particular day. Wearing an elaborate B’day dress to school and distributing chocolates among friends and teacher was the highlight for me. Those days B’days were spent differently. Nowadays it is just a year gone by.

My most cherished B’day gift would be special dish prepared by my father. Since he is no more, I miss his cooking. ‘Dum Aloo’ was his specialty. His dishes were the highlight of our B’day parties. We used to discuss and plan in advance on special menu to be prepared by him. There was secret competition between my parents regarding their culinary skills.

My desired B’day wish is to travel around the globe uninhibitedly. If I could take a year off starting from my B’day, I would love to travel around the world. It would be a great adventure to travel from one place to another without any planning.

Life after ‘Bhabi Ji’ is quite exciting. I was nervous to take up fiction show on television as I had never tried comedy before ‘Bhabi Ji’. I kept postponing the show for 9 months before I took it up. Till now audience has known me as a TV anchor but now it’s fun to watch kids and adults address me as ‘Gori Mem’. This show has given a new identity to me which I am enjoying immensely.

Five things not many know about me are- 1) I am never satisfied with my work and want to keep improvising. I am a perfectionist who is always dissatisfied. 2) I have strong weakness for sweets. I don’t have a sweet tooth but a sweet denture. 3) To be a great gambler has always been my secret dark desire. 4) I talk in my sleep but totally forget about it in the morning. 5) I have a razor sharp memory and can memorize dialogues by reading just once.
